Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of bakery experience
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • ability to operate baking equipment safely
  • physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • capability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
  • at least 2 years of related work experience
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work well in a team
  • familiarity with food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare breads and pastries including doughs and fillings
  • proof, bake, and decorate as appropriate
  • review production sheet to determine baked goods variety
  • prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • maintain kitchen logs for food safety compliance
  • monitor quality and portions of food served during shift
  • report equipment and temperature issues to management
