Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of bakery experience
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- ability to operate baking equipment safely
- physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- capability to stand or walk for extended periods
- willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
- at least 2 years of related work experience
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team
- familiarity with food safety standards
Job Duties
- Prepare breads and pastries including doughs and fillings
- proof, bake, and decorate as appropriate
- review production sheet to determine baked goods variety
- prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- maintain kitchen logs for food safety compliance
- monitor quality and portions of food served during shift
- report equipment and temperature issues to management
