Job Requirements

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to follow food safety procedures
  • Ability to use baking tools and equipment safely
  • Physical ability to handle kitchen tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to maintain personal hygiene standards
  • Strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare breads and pastries including doughs and fillings
  • Proof and bake baked goods according to production sheets
  • Decorate baked goods as appropriate
  • Maintain kitchen logs for compliance with food safety programs
  • Communicate excess food items to Chef for daily specials planning
  • Use baking and measuring tools and equipment safely and appropriately
  • Monitor quality of food prepared and portions served
