- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of related work experience
- capable of standing and walking for extended periods
- able to lift, move, push, and transport objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- able to work on sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces
- ability to stretch, bend, crouch, twist, and stoop
- strong attention to detail
- ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- no supervisory experience required

Job Duties
- Prepare breads and pastries including doughs and fillings
- taste, bake, and decorate baked products according to recipes and quality standards
- review daily production sheets to plan baked goods production
- prepare and cook food following recipes, quality, and presentation standards
- maintain kitchen records for food safety compliance
- communicate food surpluses to executive chef to assist in planning daily specials
- safely operate kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances for measuring and baking
- follow food handling safety policies and personal hygiene procedures
- check and ensure correct appliance and food temperatures and report issues to management
- monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout shifts
- assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, disciplining, motivating, and mentoring employees
- adhere to company policies and safety procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
- conduct comprehensive safety trainings and certifications
- maintain clean and professional appearance and confidentiality
- communicate clearly and professionally
- foster positive work relationships and teamwork
- manage delicate issues with tact and confidentiality
- serve as department role model or mentor
- comply with quality expectations and standards
- perform physical tasks including lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods
