Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Minimum one year cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel
  • Luxury hotel experience is a plus
  • Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds
  • Ability to work in temperature extremes such as freezers and hot kitchens
  • Trustworthy and possess integrity
  • Open to learning and personal development
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare the highest quality of food products for the restaurant and banquets according to menu descriptions and hotel standards
  • Mentor Cook III and kitchen staff providing guidance and support as needed
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of food products as well as sanitation standards and culinary techniques
  • Regularly restock kitchen supplies and food items along with maintaining cleanliness of your area
  • Fulfill guest orders in a timely manner with skillful attention to detail
  • Work in a collaborative environment while maintaining professionalism
  • Deliver on guests' expectations and create WOW moments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside normal scope based on business need
