Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred
  • minimum 2 years of culinary or baking experience
  • ability to follow recipes and production guidelines
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
  • at least 2 years of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience
  • proficiency in baking techniques and food safety protocols
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation

Job Duties

  • Prepare breads and pastries including doughs and fillings
  • proof and bake baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
  • decorate baked items appropriately
  • maintain kitchen logs for food safety compliance
  • safely use baking equipment and tools
  • assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees
  • follow company policies including safety and security procedures
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • monitor food quality and portion control
  • communicate effectively with team members and management
  • perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods
  • perform additional job duties as assigned by supervisors
