Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred
- minimum 2 years of culinary or baking experience
- ability to follow recipes and production guidelines
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
- at least 2 years of related work experience
- no supervisory experience
- proficiency in baking techniques and food safety protocols
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
Job Duties
- Prepare breads and pastries including doughs and fillings
- proof and bake baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
- decorate baked items appropriately
- maintain kitchen logs for food safety compliance
- safely use baking equipment and tools
- assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees
- follow company policies including safety and security procedures
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- monitor food quality and portion control
- communicate effectively with team members and management
- perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods
- perform additional job duties as assigned by supervisors
