Job Requirements

  • Experience in pastry or bakery is required
  • current Food Handlers Certification compliant with California laws
  • ability to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently or constantly
  • ability to stand for the entire shift
  • able to work in varying temperature conditions including hot and cold
  • able to work outdoors
  • flexible schedule with the ability to work long hours

  • Experience in pastry or bakery is required
  • current Food Handlers Certification compliant with California laws

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the companys Service culture - 4 Keys to creating guests for life
  • participate actively in the team member referral program and act as a Talent Ambassador
  • attend all resort required meetings and trainings
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including wearing proper uniform and nametag
  • run the shift with minimal supervision and provide training and guidance to new team members
  • participate in the production and quality control of baked goods such as pastries, breads, cakes, cold desserts, and other pastries
  • follow recipes accurately and measure ingredients correctly
  • operate all commercial kitchen and bake shop equipment safely
  • fill out food requisitions to order baking supplies
  • self-manage projects and handle multiple Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) or outlet productions
  • maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation at workstation and other work areas
  • assist in training new employees
  • continually teach pastry skills to other cooks
  • abide by all resort policies and safety rules
  • perform other duties as requested by management
