Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pastry/bakery preferably with large production volume
  • knowledge of baking ingredients, measuring techniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and baking times
  • ability to comply with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to communicate effectively within a team

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare pastry items according to specification/recipe
  • monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple stations within the given time to meet strict deadlines
  • comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
  • report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry workstation
  • assist in inventory management and ordering of bakery supplies
  • collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during shifts
