Job Requirements

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience preferred
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to safely use baking tools, equipment, and appliances
  • Ability to maintain food safety and hygiene procedures
  • Physical ability to move, lift, and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to follow company policies and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare breads and pastries including doughs and fillings
  • proof, bake, and decorate baked goods
  • Review production sheets to understand daily baked goods variety
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety compliance
  • Monitor food quality and portion control during shifts
  • Assist management in hiring, training, and coaching employees
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene policies
  • Check and report kitchen appliance and food temperatures
  • Maintain professional personal appearance and communicate effectively
  • Serve as a department role model or mentor
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
