Job Duties

  • must adhere to the company’s service culture - 4 keys to creating guests for life
  • must actively participate in team member referral program and be a talent ambassador for Silverado Resort
  • must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag
  • ability to run the shift with minimal supervisor in addition to training and guiding new team members
  • participates in production and quality of baked goods such as breakfast pastries, breads, cakes, cold desserts, and other various pastries to meet resorts’ standards
  • must be able to follow the recipes and measure the ingredients correctly
  • operates all commercial kitchen equipment and bake shop equipment correctly and in a safe manner
  • fills out food requisitions to order baking supplies from purchasing
  • must be able to self-manage projects
  • responsible for multiple beos and/or multiple outlet production
  • maintains high standards of cleanliness and sanitation at workstation and other work areas
  • assist in training new employees, as needed
  • assists in continually teaching pastry skills to other pastry cooks
  • abide by all resort policies and safety rules
  • perform other duties as requested by management
