Job Duties
- prepare breads and pastries including doughs and fillings
- test, bake, and decorate according to recipes and quality standards
- review production sheets to understand daily baked goods requirements
- maintain food safety records and comply with food safety programs
- monitor oven and food temperatures and report issues to management
- ensure quality of food preparation and portion control during shifts
- assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
- follow safety policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- communicate clearly and professionally
- foster positive working relationships and support team goals
- handle sensitive issues with tact, respect, and confidentiality
- act as a departmental role model or mentor
- comply with company expectations and quality standards
- move and lift objects up to 25 pounds
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned
