Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in pastry and bakery
- current food handlers certification in compliance with California laws
- ability to work flexible and long hours
- physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for entire shifts
- ability to work in various temperature conditions and outdoors
- strong leadership and teamwork skills
- compliance with resort policies and safety rules

Job Duties
- Adhere to the companys service culture - 4 keys to creating guests for life
- participate in team member referral program and act as a talent ambassador
- attend all resort required meetings and trainings
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform and nametag
- run shift with minimal supervision while training and guiding new team members
- produce quality baked goods such as breakfast pastries, breads, cakes, cold desserts and other pastries
- follow recipes and measure ingredients accurately
- safely operate commercial kitchen and bake shop equipment
- fill out food requisitions to order baking supplies
- self-manage projects and responsibilities
- manage multiple BEOs and outlet productions
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
- assist in training new employees
- teach pastry skills to other cooks
- comply with all resort policies and safety rules
- perform additional duties as requested by management
