Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pastry/bakery preferably with large production volume
  • Knowledge of baking ingredients, measuring techniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and baking times
  • Ability to comply with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to stand and perform tasks for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare pastry items according to specification/recipe
  • Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple station within the given time to meet strict deadlines
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to manager and hygiene and food safety team
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
  • Adapt to different shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
