Job Requirements

  • Must have food handling certificate
  • Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow supervisor’s instructions
  • Willingness to attend training and meetings

Job Qualifications

  • Previous pastry experience preferred
  • Experience in high-volume culinary operations preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to execute assigned recipes to company standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Ensure quality, consistency, production and execution of all food menu items
  • Interact with fellow employees and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner
  • Maintain professional appearance standards
  • Anticipate and accommodate the needs of guests
  • Handle allergy and dietary restrictions and modifications
  • Assist in taking inventory and creating daily prep list
  • Follow orders from POS system and expeditor directions
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station and kitchen
  • Communicate product needs to chefs, sous chefs and support staff
  • Check cover counts, BEOs and Fire Sheets
  • Set up and close stations including stocking supplies and mise en place
  • Perform opening and closing side-work
  • Report all breakage or damage of equipment or furniture
  • Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings and training sessions
  • Portray a positive and professional attitude
