Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Ability to follow directions and guidance from the Executive Pastry Chef
  • Demonstrated passion for food and culinary arts
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Flexibility with work schedule and availability
  • Basic knowledge of food sanitation and safety regulations
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Support the Executive Pastry Chef in the execution and delivery of the restaurant and banquet desserts
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
  • Stock, maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
  • Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
