Job Requirements

  • Minimal formal experience required
  • Must be able to stand, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch for 8 or more hours per day
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must have a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a mentally and physically stressful environment
  • Must follow club attendance policies and procedures

  • Pursuing a career in pastry
  • Basic knowledge and skills in baking and pastry arts
  • Desire to learn and ambition to become an executive pastry chef
  • Ability to work in a high-temperature environment

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare quality baking and pastry items for all club restaurants and events
  • Read and execute banquet event orders accurately
  • Participate in dessert menu planning
  • Maintain bakery display cases with fresh and artistic selections
  • Assist in designing and decorating dessert buffets
  • Keep work areas clean, sanitary, and organized according to safety standards
  • Report and document accidents, maintenance issues, and unsafe conditions
