Job Requirements

  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 lbs
  • perform manual and repetitive motions
  • experience as a pastry cook or baker, ideally in a high-end hospitality or fine dining setting
  • culinary training or hands-on pastry experience
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

  • able to work comfortably in a kitchen environment with fluctuating temperatures

Job Duties

  • prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, breads, and plated desserts for restaurants, in-room dining, and events
  • develop and refine new pastry recipes and stay up-to-date with the latest pastry trends, baking techniques, and dietary requirements
  • maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
  • keep your workstation stocked, clean, and organized
  • assist with ordering supplies and managing inventory to minimize waste
  • work with the kitchen team to provide seamless service during busy hours
  • contribute creative ideas for seasonal menus and special events
  • follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
  • comply with company policies, including time & attendance, meal & rest breaks, uniform standards, and code of conduct
  • operate and maintain pastry kitchen equipment safely
  • complete pre- and post-shift duties and any other tasks assigned by management
