Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional pastry or baking role (fine dining or upscale environment preferred)
- strong working knowledge of classic and contemporary pastry techniques, including doughs, mousses, custards, sauces, and plated dessert composition
- ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, team-oriented kitchen
- flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- positive attitude and eagerness to learn, contribute, and grow
Job Duties
- Prepare and plate desserts, pastries, and breads in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
- assist in the development of seasonal dessert offerings and daily specials
- ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of all ingredients and finished products
- follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
- maintain a clean, organized, and efficient station at all times
- support inventory management, ordering, and product rotation as needed
- communicate and collaborate with front- and back-of-house team members to ensure seamless service
