Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or college degree preferred
  • Food Handler Certificate
  • Sexual Harassment Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional pastry or baking role
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must pass a background check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional pastry or baking role, fine dining or upscale environment preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of classic and contemporary pastry techniques, including doughs, mousses, custards, sauces, and plated dessert composition
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, team-oriented kitchen
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn, contribute, and grow

Job Duties

  • Prepare and plate desserts, pastries, and breads in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in the development of seasonal dessert offerings and daily specials
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of all ingredients and finished products
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient station at all times
  • Support inventory management, ordering, and product rotation as needed
  • Communicate and collaborate with front- and back-of-house team members to ensure seamless service
