Job Requirements
- at least 1-2 years experience as a pastry cook
- culinary arts degree preferred
- strong communication skills
- proficiency in English
- ability to work under pressure
- strong work ethic
- food safety certification or ability to obtain
- full availability including days, nights, and weekends
- sufficient mobility to perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling
- ability to lift, push, or pull approximately 50lbs
- ability to stand or walk for up to 10 hours during shifts
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as a pastry cook
- a degree in culinary arts, pastry and baking preferred
- strong communication skills both written and verbal
- ability to understand, speak, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
- strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow
- ability to obtain food safety certifications
- full availability including days, nights, and weekends
Job Duties
- produce all baked goods and pastry preparations daily
- work the line to execute dessert items
- follow recipes and presentation standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station
- assist in inventory and stock management
- ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- collaborate with kitchen team to support service flow
