Job Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years working in a professional kitchen
  • ability to work under a certified master chef
  • availability to work all shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to lift heavy baking ingredients and stand for long periods

  • ability to operate and maintain bakery equipment

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience as a pastry cook or baker
  • formal culinary training or certification in pastry arts preferred
  • strong knowledge of classic pastry techniques
  • excellent attention to detail and presentation
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines

  • flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • knowledge of modern pastry trends and ability to develop new recipes

Job Duties

  • prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods
  • follow recipes and maintain consistency in taste and presentation
  • create and decorate pastries and desserts to a high standard
  • ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • manage the inventory of baking ingredients and ensure proper storage
  • work with the kitchen team to meet production timelines and service needs
  • assist in creating new menu items and special dessert offerings
  • monitor and maintain the quality of ingredients used
  • operate and maintain bakery equipment, ensuring all tools and machinery are clean and in good working condition
