Knowledge of basic baking techniques

Job Duties

Prepare desserts, pastries, and other baked goods using business recipes while operating large-volume cooking equipment
Prepare and maintain ingredients, tools, supplies, and equipment
Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and merchandise
Restock daily all pastries, cakes, pies, and other baked goods
Ensure products are stored, prepared, and served according to specifications and standards
Execute pastry orders for catered events and accommodate special requests
Prepare garnishes for baked items
