Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
  • Ability to work all venue events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Pastry degree or graduation from a certified apprenticeship program
  • Minimum of 2-3 years cooking experience in the contract foodservice industry
  • Preferably experience in premium services, catering, and concessions in sports and entertainment venues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under deadline pressure
  • Strong commitment to customer and client service
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative
  • Ability to interact at all levels of management
  • Flexibility to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
  • Ability to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions independently

Job Duties

  • Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
  • Direct, implement, and maintain a guest service and management philosophy as a guide to team members
  • Meet with Executive Culinary Team to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes, and other pertinent information
  • Ensure only the highest quality product is served to guests
  • Demonstrate strong baking and pastry skills including advanced techniques and bread baking
  • Maintain and comply with County Health/Sanitation and Legends Hospitality standards
  • Provide efficient service and quality products through positive customer relations and prudent financial practices
  • Ensure all equipment is operational and regularly cleaned
  • Rotate to other service locations when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
