Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to work all venue events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Pastry degree or graduation from a certified apprenticeship program
- 2-3 years of cooking experience in the contract foodservice industry, preferably in premium services, catering, or concession environments in sports and entertainment venues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in deadline-oriented settings
- Strong commitment to customer and client service
- Customer service orientation with ability to interact with all management levels
- Flexibility to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
- Ability to make generalizations and decisions with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
- Direct, implement, and maintain a guest service and management philosophy guiding team members
- Meet with Executive Culinary Team to review assignments, anticipated business levels, and changes
- Ensure the highest quality product is served to guests
- Apply strong baking and pastry skills including bread baking and advanced techniques
- Maintain and abide by county health, sanitation, and Legends Hospitality standards
- Provide efficient service and maintain positive customer and client relations through effective communication
- Ensure all equipment is properly operational and regularly cleaned
- Show flexibility by rotating to other service locations as necessary
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
