Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
  • Ability to work all venue events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Pastry degree or graduation from a certified apprenticeship program
  • 2-3 years of cooking experience in the contract foodservice industry, preferably in premium services, catering, or concession environments in sports and entertainment venues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in deadline-oriented settings
  • Strong commitment to customer and client service
  • Customer service orientation with ability to interact with all management levels
  • Flexibility to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
  • Ability to make generalizations and decisions with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
  • Direct, implement, and maintain a guest service and management philosophy guiding team members
  • Meet with Executive Culinary Team to review assignments, anticipated business levels, and changes
  • Ensure the highest quality product is served to guests
  • Apply strong baking and pastry skills including bread baking and advanced techniques
  • Maintain and abide by county health, sanitation, and Legends Hospitality standards
  • Provide efficient service and maintain positive customer and client relations through effective communication
  • Ensure all equipment is properly operational and regularly cleaned
  • Show flexibility by rotating to other service locations as necessary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
