Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
- Availability to work all venue events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Physical stamina for constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
Job Qualifications
- Pastry degree or graduation from a certified apprenticeship program
- Minimum of 2-3 years cooking experience in contract foodservice, preferably in premium services, catering, or concessions in sports and entertainment venues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
- Commitment to high-level customer and client service
- Experience interacting with all levels of management
- Flexibility to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
- Ability to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
- Direct and implement guest service and management philosophy for team members
- Meet with Executive Culinary Team to review assignments and business updates
- Ensure only the highest quality product is served to guests
- Apply strong baking and pastry skills including advanced techniques and bread baking
- Adhere to County Health/Sanitation and Legends Hospitality standards
- Maintain positive customer and client relations through effective communication
- Ensure all equipment is operational and regularly cleaned
- Show flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
