Job Requirements
- Professional pastry and baking experience required
- Full-time employment
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
- Must be able to provide photo samples of dessert and pastry creations
- Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening required
- Ability to work flexible schedule without late nights
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience as a pastry cook in hotel, restaurant, country club, or similar industry
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively
- Working knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Understand measurements, conversions, nutrition, and diet
- Comfortable working independently and with others
- Must provide photo samples of dessert and pastry creations
Job Duties
- Prepare pastries, baked goods, and desserts under the guidance of the Pastry Chef
- Prepare all food according to standard recipes and special dietary orders
- Organize pastry production in a cost-effective manner and in line with health and safety standards
- Maintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition
- Comply with standards for personal hygiene and dress code
- Operate and maintain kitchen tools and equipment properly
