Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of prior experience in the pastry department of a high-volume, full-service restaurant or supportive role preferred
- valid food handler certification if applicable
- ability to manage time and organize tasks effectively
- ability to work with minimal direction or supervision
- capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications

- food handler certification if applicable

Job Duties
- Prepare all pastry items for the restaurant according to specifications
- demonstration, preparation, presentation and execution of each menu item held to restaurant standards
- produce food on a timely basis and be well-educated regarding the menu
- maintain a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, pastry, cooking, and refrigeration equipment
- follow departmental policies as well as restaurant rules, regulations and policies set forth in the Employee Handbook and by management
- report any maintenance or repairs needed to kitchen equipment
- provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests
- prevent spoiling and contamination of foods by implementing proper sanitation practices and ensuring compliance with policy and health regulations
- maintain a high level of cleanliness in kitchen facilities
- take on responsibilities outside of this job post when needed
