Job Requirements

  • pastry degree preferred or 2+ years of equivalent experience
  • strong knowledge of pastry and baking techniques
  • ability to read and execute recipes using imperial and metric measurements in English
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen
  • dependable and team-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • ability to read and interpret outlet tickets and banquet event orders

  • ability to read and execute standardized recipes using both imperial and metric measurements in English

Job Duties

  • assist the executive pastry chef in all pastry production tasks
  • prepare baked goods, frozen desserts, plated desserts, and specialty cakes
  • create four-tier wedding cakes and other custom cakes
  • maintain consistency and quality of all desserts
  • read and execute standardized recipes accurately
  • interpret outlet tickets and banquet event orders
  • multitask efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
