Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience in a pastry kitchen preparing and cooking
  • Positive energy and readiness to assist fellow support staff
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand basic baking and cooking directions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests
  • Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Capable of constant standing and walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare all dessert and baked good items on the menu using standard recipe cards
  • Adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards
  • Follow kitchen rules, policies and procedures
  • Complete daily prep lists and closing checklists for assigned duties
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station following all DHEC regulations
  • Promptly report product shortages, equipment problems or food quality issues
  • Assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
