Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED preferred
- two years of recent experience as a baker or pastry cook or equivalent combination of experience and education
- must be 18 years of age or older
- no felony, theft or stealing convictions
- ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- ability to pass background investigation
- ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license
- knowledge of kitchen equipment, utensils, tools and machinery
- knowledge of safe kitchen practices
- ability to communicate, read and write in basic English
- ability to demonstrate guest service skills
- ability to work in fast paced environment
- ability to maintain professional appearance and manner
- ability to organize and coordinate team tasks
- ability to use cleaning equipment safely
- knowledge of basic foods and their uses
- knowledge of food safety regulations

Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares a variety of foods according to menu and business demand
- uses and learns proper knife skills, cooking and baking techniques, methods and terminology
- follows standardized recipes for all food venues
- completes all assigned tasks
- communicates clearly with Pastry Chefs
- maintains and communicates inventory needs to ensure proper stock levels
- keeps work areas clean, organized and sanitized according to health and safety regulations
- ensures all assigned kitchen areas and food storage are maintained
- prepares areas for opening on time
- cleans and organizes equipment, tools, floors and workstations
- works according to established procedures
- maintains positive and professional communication with team members
- contributes to team efforts
- performs other duties as required
