Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience in a pastry kitchen preparing and cooking
  • positive energy and teamwork spirit
  • ability to speak, read and understand basic baking and cooking directions
  • effective communication skills with managers, employees, and guests
  • flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand and walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience in a pastry kitchen preparing and cooking
  • ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests
  • positive energy and readiness to assist support staff
  • ability to read, speak and understand basic baking and cooking directions

Job Duties

  • Prepare all dessert and baked good items on the menu using standard recipe cards
  • adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies
  • perform other related duties as assigned by the Pastry Chef or manager-on-duty
  • complete a daily prep list and closing checklist for each shift
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work station adhering to all health regulations
  • promptly report product shortages, equipment problems or food quality issues to Pastry Chef or Executive Chef
  • assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
