Job Duties
- Prepare delicious pastries at the Sicilian Baker
- Put together baked goods that delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery, and follow recipes closely
- Move around the kitchen quickly and multitask
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients (baking, chopping, peeling, vegetables, etc.)
- Cook food with various utensils or equipment
- Check food while cooking to stir or turn
- Ensure great presentation
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check the quality of ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
