Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years' professional cooking experience
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- excellent communication skills
- ability to read and speak English clearly
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- organizational skills and motivating personality
- willingness to pursue a culinary career professionally
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years' professional cooking experience in a restaurant or similar caliber establishment
- high school diploma or equivalent
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- organized, motivating, demonstrating excellent communication skills and personable
- working knowledge of reservation management systems preferred
- passion and professional commitment to the culinary career
Job Duties
- Oversees assigned areas of pastry production and works service
- execute recipes, maintain kitchen equipment, and always be on time
- use working knowledge of basic pastry techniques such as scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, finishing
- assist in the production of a dynamic pastry program for the restaurants and bakery including seasonal specials
- ensure quality standards are achieved daily as directed
- assure all necessary items are in the restaurant/bakery at the start of the shift and communicate any needs promptly
- maintain ingredient quality standards aligned with the Chef's requirements
