Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years' professional cooking experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to read and speak English clearly
  • flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • organizational skills and motivating personality
  • willingness to pursue a culinary career professionally

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years' professional cooking experience in a restaurant or similar caliber establishment
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • organized, motivating, demonstrating excellent communication skills and personable
  • working knowledge of reservation management systems preferred
  • passion and professional commitment to the culinary career

Job Duties

  • Oversees assigned areas of pastry production and works service
  • execute recipes, maintain kitchen equipment, and always be on time
  • use working knowledge of basic pastry techniques such as scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, finishing
  • assist in the production of a dynamic pastry program for the restaurants and bakery including seasonal specials
  • ensure quality standards are achieved daily as directed
  • assure all necessary items are in the restaurant/bakery at the start of the shift and communicate any needs promptly
  • maintain ingredient quality standards aligned with the Chef's requirements
