Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years pastry experience in private club or hospitality environment preferred
  • ability to multitask and maintain high standards
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to read and interpret recipes and banquet orders
  • dependable and punctual
  • ability to work full-time year-round

Job Qualifications

  • pastry degree preferred or 2+ years equivalent experience in private club or hospitality
  • strong knowledge of pastry and baking techniques
  • ability to read and execute standardized recipes in English
  • dependable and team-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • ability to read and interpret outlet tickets and banquet event orders
  • experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • assist the Executive Pastry Chef in pastry production
  • prepare baked goods such as cakes, pastries, and frozen desserts
  • create plated desserts for daily dining services
  • produce specialty cakes including four-tier wedding cakes
  • follow standardized recipes using imperial and metric measurements
  • multitask efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining club standards
  • read and interpret outlet tickets and banquet event orders
