Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
- Must be willing to work hours that vary according to event schedule
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must have strong baking and pastry skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions constantly
- Must maintain positive body language and a friendly demeanor
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Job Qualifications
- Pastry degree or graduation from a certified apprenticeship program
- Minimum of 2-3 years cooking experience in contract foodservice industry
- Preferably experienced in premium services, catering, and concessions for sports and entertainment venues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
- Strong commitment to customer and client service
- Demonstrated initiative and leadership
- Ability to interact with all levels of management
- Flexibility to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
- Consistently provide positive guest service
- Ability to make decisions without immediate supervision
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
- Direct, implement, and maintain a guest service and management philosophy for team members
- Meet with Executive Culinary Team to review assignments, anticipated business levels, and other pertinent job performance information
- Ensure that only the highest-quality products are served to guests
- Utilize strong baking and pastry skills
- Apply knowledge of bread baking and advanced baking and pastry techniques
- Adhere to County Health and Sanitation as well as Legends Hospitality standards
- Provide efficient service and quality products by maintaining positive customer and client relations through effective communication and prudent financial practices
- Ensure that all equipment is properly operational and cleaned regularly
- Rotate to other service locations as necessary
- Perform other related duties assigned by management
