Job Requirements

  • experience in baking and pastry production
  • knowledge of bread baking and advanced pastry techniques
  • ability to maintain calm and positive demeanor under stress
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • flexibility to work varying hours including weekends and holidays

  • ability to follow recipes and maintain food quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • willing to work hours that vary according to event schedule
  • able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • able to remain calm in stressful situations
  • able to smile maintain positive body language and provide positive guest service
  • able to generalize evaluate and make decisions without immediate supervision
  • pastry degree or certified apprenticeship with 2-3 years cooking experience in contract food service industry preferably in premium services catering and concessions for sports and entertainment venue
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to multi-task and prioritize in deadline-oriented environment
  • strong commitment to high level customer and client service with initiative and leadership
  • customer service oriented with ability to interact with all management levels
  • flexible to work extended hours including late nights weekends and holidays
  • able to work in a team environment
  • high level of organization and attention to detail
  • practice safe work habits and follow safety policies procedures regulations and complete safety training

Job Duties

  • demonstrate hands on approach to all bakery products produced ensuring quality presentation and consistency
  • ensure recipes are accurate and updated as needed
  • ensure all food products meet established specifications and standards
  • prepare proper levels of bakery and pastry items based on forecasted needs and deliver promptly
  • bake fresh pastries desserts and breads
  • maintain friendly positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
  • meet with executive culinary team to review assignments business levels changes and other pertinent information
  • ensure highest quality product served to guests
  • apply strong baking and pastry skills
  • maintain and abide by county health sanitation and legends hospitality standards
