Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of culinary or related work experience
  • Ability to follow recipe cards and culinary standards
  • Capability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnight
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum four years culinary or related work experience
  • Basic culinary knowledge with working knowledge generally learned on-the-job
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, including possibility of overnight shift

Job Duties

  • Prepare pastry items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards
  • Complete mise en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service
  • Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment including food processor, mixer, oven
  • Maintain a clean and efficient station
  • Manage and prioritize tasks by shift
