Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of professional cooking experience in similar caliber establishments
  • ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent communication skills
  • must be punctual and able to maintain kitchen equipment
  • knowledge of basic pastry techniques
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and communicate effectively
  • must be personable and motivating

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years professional cooking experience in a restaurant or similar establishment
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to read, speak, and interpret documents in clear English
  • organized and motivating personality
  • working knowledge of reservation management systems highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversees assigned areas of pastry production and works service
  • execute recipes
  • maintain kitchen equipment
  • be punctual
  • use working knowledge of basic pastry techniques such as scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing
  • assist in the production of dynamic pastry programs including seasonal specials
  • ensure quality standards are achieved daily
  • assure all necessary items are in the restaurant and bakery at the start of the shift
  • communicate ingredient and material needs in appropriate timeframe
