Job Requirements

  • Basic pastry or baking knowledge (school or hands-on experience preferred)
  • Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and take feedback
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Availability for weekends and holidays
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Assist in the daily production of pastries, desserts, sauces, creams, doughs, mousses, glazes, and chocolate elements
  • Follow recipes with accuracy and maintain consistency in preparation and flavor
  • Set up and maintain the pastry station for service
  • Assist with plating desserts during service following the Executive Pastry Chef's standards
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage according to food-safety guidelines (HACCP)
  • Label, date, and rotate products correctly (FIFO)
  • Support production for high-volume events, banquets, and special menus
  • Operate pastry equipment and tools safely (mixers, ovens, dehydrators, etc.)
  • Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
