Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in professional cooking
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to read, speak, and interpret documents in English
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • organized, motivating, and personable
  • working knowledge of reservation management systems preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years professional cooking experience in a restaurant or similar establishment
  • high school diploma or equivalent education
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to read, speak, and interpret documents in clear English
  • organized and motivating with excellent communication skills
  • personable attitude
  • working knowledge of reservation management systems highly preferred
  • passion for pastry and culinary profession

Job Duties

  • Oversee assigned areas of pastry production and work service
  • execute recipes
  • maintain kitchen equipment
  • always be on time
  • use working knowledge of basic pastry techniques such as scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing
  • assist in the production of a dynamic pastry program including seasonal specials
  • ensure quality standards are achieved daily
  • assure all necessary items are in the restaurant or bakery at the start of the shift
  • communicate any needs in appropriate timeframe
  • ensure all ingredients meet quality standards and align with those established by the Chef
