Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
  • ability to follow safety and hygiene standards
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50lbs
  • knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • fluent in the local language
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Strong physical ability including lifting up to 50lbs and ability to bend and kneel
  • good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths
  • flexible to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
  • compliant with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol
  • above minimum age required
  • fluent in the local language
  • great communicator with warm, welcoming and articulate manner

Job Duties

  • Make each meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the taste buds
  • own your kitchen - keep on top of supplies and equipment and minimize waste
  • tell your supervisor or duty manager about any unsafe equipment, low supplies or safety incidents
  • help create a safe space by following our safety procedures and wearing necessary protective equipment
  • be cleaner than clean - meet or exceed local cleanliness and hygiene laws
  • help with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed
  • give guests a better experience by helping with any queries or advice
  • wear your uniform with pride
  • take on other ad-hoc duties when the whole team needs to pull together
