Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, breads, and other desserts according to standardized recipes and quality standards
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistency in product quality and taste
  • Decorate and present baked goods attractively, using various techniques such as icing, glazing, and garnishing
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management to avoid shortages or waste
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dessert offerings and improve existing recipes
  • Assist in training junior pastry staff and support kitchen operations during busy periods
