Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists
  • prepare desserts, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods for guests and members
  • prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use
  • safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances to prepare baked foods
  • follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures
  • check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food
  • set up work station to ensure freshness and quality
  • assist pastry team members to complete tasks on time
  • break down work station at end of service and day
  • ensure pastry kitchen is clean before leaving
  • communicate with members, coworkers, management, staff and others in a professional manner
  • conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
  • follow a daily prep list
