Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED preferred
- two years of recent experience as a baker or pastry cook or equivalent combination of recent experience and education
- must be 18 years of age or older
- no felony, theft or stealing convictions
- must successfully pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
- must pass background investigation
- must obtain and maintain a gaming license
- knowledge of kitchen equipment, utensils, tools and machinery
- knowledge of safe practices in a kitchen working environment
- ability to communicate, read and write clearly in basic English
- ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service
- ability to work in a busy fast paced environment
- ability to perform in a professional appearance and manner
- ability to be organized and coordinate tasks among team members
- ability to safely use and administer cleaning equipment and supplies
- knowledge of basic foods and their uses
- knowledge of all food safety regulations
- ability to teach basic culinary methods, techniques and principles

Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares a variety of pastry and baked goods according to standardized recipes and menu demand
- uses and learns proper knife skills, baking and cooking techniques, methods and terminology
- follows assigned tasks and communicates clearly with Pastry Chefs
- maintains food and product stock levels ensuring safe par and proper inventory
- cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, tools, and food storage areas in compliance with health and safety regulations
- organizes and labels refrigeration, freezer, and dry storage areas
- prepares assigned venues and kitchens to be fully operational by the designated opening times
- communicates effectively with team members to maintain a positive and professional work environment
- contributes to team efforts and performs other related duties as required
