Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience as a pastry cook in a relevant food service setting
- Ability to follow detailed instructions in English
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Understanding of food safety and personal hygiene standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide photographic evidence of baking work
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience working as a pastry cook in hotels, restaurants, country clubs, or similar industries producing pastries, desserts, and breads from scratch
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively
- Working knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
- Understanding of measurements, conversions, nutrition, and diet
- Comfortable working independently and with others
- Able to provide photo samples of dessert and pastry creations
Job Duties
- Prepare pastries, baked goods, and desserts under the guidance of the Pastry Chef
- Prepare all food according to standard recipes and special dietary orders
- Organize pastry production in a cost-effective manner and comply with health and safety standards
- Maintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition
- Comply with standards for personal hygiene and dress code
- Operate and maintain kitchen tools and equipment properly
