Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Two years of recent experience as a baker or pastry cook or equivalent
- No felony theft or stealing convictions
- Ability to pass pre employment drug and alcohol screen
- Ability to pass background investigation
- Must obtain and maintain a gaming license
- Ability to safely use and administer cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work evenings weekends holidays and irregular shifts
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Must follow tribal city state and federal health and food safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Two years of recent experience as a baker or pastry cook or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment utensils tools and machinery
- Knowledge of safe practices in a kitchen environment
- Ability to communicate read and write basic English
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service
- Ability to work in a busy fast paced environment
- Ability to perform professionally with organized coordination among team members
- Knowledge of basic foods and food safety regulations
- Ability to teach basic culinary methods techniques and principles
- Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of management
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares a variety of foods according to menu and business demand
- Uses and learns proper knife skills cooking and baking techniques methods and terminology
- Understands and follows standardized recipes for all food venues and outlets
- Maintains communication with Pastry Chefs regarding food and product needs
- Maintains and sanitizes work area and kitchen following all health and food safety regulations
- Ensures assigned venue or kitchen areas are clean organized and ready for operation by designated times
- Responsible for cleanliness organization and labeling of food storage areas and equipment
