Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances safely and appropriately
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene
  • Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, report issues to management
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area
  • set-up and break-down work stations
  • monitor quality of food prepared and portions served
  • Comply with company policies and procedures including safety and security
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • maintain a professional appearance
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • support team goals
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
