Job Requirements

  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • Flexibility with schedule and hours

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years pastry or bakery experience in hotels, resorts, casinos, or restaurants
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Produce basic preparation-style pastry items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for residents and staff meals
  • Follow directions from Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and Cook Lead to complete assigned duties
  • Ensure all pastry items needed for meals or events are prepared and presented on time
  • Adhere to all established Dining Services policies and procedures
  • Work within an a la carte scratch kitchen environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station
  • Collaborate with culinary team to uphold high standards of food quality and presentation
