Job Requirements

  • minimum of two years of pastry cooking experience
  • strong knowledge of pastry ingredients and kitchen equipment
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Assist in pastry menu execution
  • ensure the appearance and taste of all pastry items meet restaurant standards
  • organize and execute daily prep duties
  • communicate with head chef and sous chef regarding prep and menu items
  • maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of pastry equipment and area
  • communicate pastry-related issues and updates with chef and manager on duty
  • receive and verify orders from suppliers
  • uphold quality and standards through proper food preparation and recipe adherence
  • assist the team as needed and promote teamwork
