Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping and storing before use
- Use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances safely and properly for measuring and baking
- Follow and ensure compliance with food safety and personal hygiene policies and procedures
- Check and ensure correct temperatures of cooking appliances and food, reporting any issues to management
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen area, organize and divide workstations, and follow hygiene and cleaning protocols
- Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout shifts
- Uphold company policies including safety procedures
- Communicate clearly and professionally using proper telephone etiquette
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Support team goals and maintain positive workplace relationships
