Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant pastry or baking experience preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
- Ability to follow recipes and plating guidelines accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a pastry/baking role (restaurant or bakery) preferred
- Strong technical skills in baking, pastry, and dessert plating
- Attention to detail and artistic presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and execute desserts, breads, and pastries according to recipes and plating standards
- Assist in menu development, seasonal specials, and creative pastry presentations
- Ensure consistency, quality, and portion control across all pastry items
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage in the pastry station
- Manage prep lists, inventory rotation, and mise en place for service
- Uphold all food safety, sanitation and HACCP standards
